Leaning toward an
outside line
outside time

a place where
wheels roll not
and white hair
stays fresh from
being done

and visitations
come as Alzheimer's
disconnections
grace her

memories shuffled
as she used to
down the corridor

  3. Memories, tragic but heartfelt...visions of a woman reduced by time. There are few things harder to see than alzheimers in ones we love...to watch them look and yet forget...

  5. One of the most powerful things about this picture is that it is a kind of mirror we can all see ourselves in. You captured the essence of that here.

  6. Excellent word choices on a way-familiar theme (I've read all of this week's Picture Prompt pieces - this is the last one of the batch). Effective stuff.
